Born to Teldorn Darkhope and Oksana Tepes, Demonbinder; during the winter of 1355, she was promised to Shar at birth. Life in the North in the shadow of her older sister's conquests of the Dalelands and the North, Eris wanted to excel. She was in every way the bright capable student of the dark arts and the art of combat two evil parents could desire.
At the ripe age of 15 she had run away from home, on the road North she could hear a voice deep within her dreams calling her. On the way she encountered a ex-Shadovar mercenary who she followed to a village of the Raven Goddess, there she honed her battle prowess and won their most sacred of rewards, to be turned into a Shade and servitor of the Shadovar. She was soon converted to the position of Redeemer when her Warlock talents manifest. The position called for her to hunt down and kill Legates on Knights of the Last Sunrise who strayed from the path.
When the powers that be needed her to she went to Mintar to threaten and cajole her father into joining the Shadovar, while she was there the Coven took down the Dark God of the North. Eris felt him fall, and knew she was in trouble. Her father, reveling in his self-righteousness demanded she join or die, she chose option C...flee.
She has since fled far to the South, the lands of Calimshan, here she has made a name for herself, in a place where her talents of slaughter shine in the harsh sun, the arena.
